How Hysio handles data
What you share deserves protection.
A secure connection
You use Hysio through a secure internet connection. This encrypts information while it is being sent. Sending and keeping information are different steps: a recording and a completed report can also be stored.
A personal account
You work from your own account. Your sessions are linked to it, and you sign in to view them. Do not share your login details. The privacy statement explains the agreements about access and responsibilities.
Understanding data use
Hysio processes the information you provide to transcribe conversations and create reports. This also involves external service providers for speech and text processing. The privacy statement explains which parties are involved.
From conversation to report. Care at every step.
You capture information.
Depending on the function you choose, you use a recording, text or a document. Only use information needed for your report, and discuss making a recording with the person you are speaking with.
Hysio works with that information.
When you use a recording, speech is converted into text. Hysio uses the information you provide to prepare a report. The recording and the report are separate files.
You review the result.
Read the report and make any necessary changes. Check that the content is accurate and sufficiently complete. You decide which information to transfer to the care record.
Your recording after the conversation
Hysio stores the recording to turn the conversation into text. The recording is not deleted as soon as the report is ready. Different retention arrangements apply to recordings and reports.

Control over your report
You can review, edit and export the result as PDF, Word or text. This lets you transfer the information you need to your own care record. Hysio helps prepare the report; clinical judgement remains with you.
Clear agreements
The privacy statement and data processing agreement explain how processing, responsibilities and rights are set out. They also provide information about the service providers involved and questions about your data.
