Before anything is listened in on, your physiotherapist briefly explains what Hysio does and asks your consent. You're always free to say no, your treatment stays the same.
The conversation goes as it always does
You simply talk with your physiotherapist. Hysio doesn't come between you, it only listens along in the background.
The notes are processed automatically
After the conversation, Hysio drafts the notes. Your physiotherapist stays in charge and gives final approval, you won't notice a thing.

Yes. Your physiotherapist always asks for your verbal consent first before Hysio listens in during your appointment. You're free to say no, the quality of your treatment stays exactly the same.
That's no problem. Your physiotherapist simply switches Hysio off and writes the notes the traditional way. Your preference is always respected.
Your audio recording is not stored permanently. Only the notes approved by your physiotherapist remain in your file. You'll find the details on our disclaimer page.
Only your treating physiotherapist and, where relevant, the immediate colleagues within the practice who are involved in your care. Your data is never shared with insurers, employers or other parties without your consent.
Your physiotherapist reviews every note before it goes into your file. Do you notice something later that isn't right? Let your physiotherapist know, correction is your legal right and happens quickly.
Absolutely not. Hysio only helps with the paperwork behind the scenes. All medical decisions, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, advice, remain with your physiotherapist. Human contact always comes first.
No. Using Hysio changes nothing about your claim or what your insurer sees. Hysio is a tool for your physiotherapist, not a party to your health insurance.
